Minecraft players have built some of the most fantastic bases that require an unimaginable amount of effort and time. Building large structures in the game is difficult enough in the Creative mode. However, the Survival mode brings a host of new challenges, such as finding and mining the right materials, the requirement of making support structures when building something talls, and many more. But sometimes nothing deters players from constructing something that is truly mind-blowing.
A Minecraft player and Reddit user named DinguPingu shared a three-minute-long video showing their survival world that took over 2,000 hours, which is close to 84 days, to build. The video shows large structures both in the Overworld and the Nether, and by looking at the grand nature of things, it is hard to believe that it was all built in a survival world.
Reacting to this spectacular video, another user named Competitive-Call1899 commented:

"This is one way to flex on us."
Another user named Great-Age-863 asked what many players might have wanted to know - the world's total file size. The original poster replied saying it's close to 8GB and they had to move it to a server or it would not load properly.
A user named opilo22 commented how they wished to have the patience one day to put so many hours into the game and make something like this. They also asked the original poster what shaders they were using. While the original poster did not reply to the comment, it looks like they are using BSL shaders for Minecraft.
Another user named Express-Purchase2219 said that the build is insane as it looks very good with all the different colors and items combined together. Another user named ImaSwiftyButHateHer also mentioned that the entire build looks very luxurious.
2,000 hours in Minecraft is a lot of time. Thinking along the same lines, user NuclearWinter_101 asked how the original poster stayed interested in the game for so long and did not feel burnt out.
The original poster replied to the comment by saying how they prefer setting small goals that can be completed in a day or two, allowing them to feel that they have achieved something. They also play the game as a mode of relaxation, which allows them to invest more time into it.
Great Minecraft builds
This is not the first time the community has been astonished by something created by some talented players. Recently, a user showed how they built a 1:2 scale replica of Mt Everest inside Minecraft. The model is very close to the real thing and players can explore different parts of the mountain's peak.
Apart from this, fans have made other impressive structures as well, such as the Minesweeper game, a Rubik’s Cube that can be solved, using complicated Redstone circuitry.
