"Unstoppable force vs immovable object": Minecraft fans react to Warden battling new Creaking mob

Minecraft is getting a new hostile mob called the Creaking soon, along with a new biome called the Pale Garden. While they are part of the upcoming update, Mojang Studios has included them in the snapshot 24w40a in an experimental stage. As a result, players are already experimenting with the new mob.

A Minecraft player who goes by u/KBerkay on Reddit, shared the idea of putting two of the most dangerous mobs against each other on the title's subreddit. They posted a video showing what happens when the Warden, the strongest mob in the game goes against the Creaking, added in the experimental update. It turns out that the Creaking does not take any damage.

Reacting to this video, u/Sim_Sam1 joked by saying that this is putting “Soyjack” Warden vs “Chad” Creaking. For those who are unaware, these names are used in memes referring to how the Warden kept attacking the Creaking but it did not even budge.

User Lino_T01 said that this video shows a way of making a close and effective Warden farm. They also stated that there was little use in making a Warden farm as the mob did not not drop any significant items when killed. They just want the farm for some revenge killing.

u/wild_skeptic joked about how it was putting a mob that does 22.5 hearts of damage per hit and just an unmovable standing stick figure that cannot be affected by it.

Another user named KingMGold said they don’t understand why the Warden would attack the Creaking as it only attacks mobs that are moving. The Creaking does not move and is more like a tree.

u/BLUFALCON77 brought up an interesting point. They said that the Creaking could be taken to an ancient city. The Warden would stay distracted trying to kill it.

The Creaking can only be killed by destroying the Creaking Heart. The Creaking Heart can be used to spawn the hostile mob anywhere.

Mojang Studios announced the release of the Bundles of Bravery update that adds the much-awaited bundles to the game. It also adds Hardcore Mode to the Bedrock Edition. However, what got most of the attention was the upcoming Pale Garden biome, the Creaking mob, and a lot of new items.

In a recent snapshot named 24w40a, the developers released the experimental update with all the features announced in Minecraft Live. Currently, the update has been released for the Java Edition. It will soon arrive on the Bedrock Edition. Apart from the Creaking and the Pale Garden, the experimental update also added the pale oak wood and the hanging moss.
