Minecraft has a nearly endless world map that players first spawn in when they begin their journey. Exploration is one of the core experiences of the game: there are various biomes, structures, and mobs to seek for resources and progression. At first, players must simply walk or run around to explore the world. Later, they can get ridable mobs and saddles to travel faster.
When it comes exploring Minecraft quickly, there are two certain methods to do so.
Note: There might be faster ways to travel than the ones mentioned. These methods are more focused on exploring the world rather than going from one point to another.

Methods to explore Minecraft in the fastest way
Flying Elytra with firework rockets
The Elytra is an overpowered, wearable gear that helps you glide when dropping from higher ground. The item cannot be manually crafted on a crafting table and is only found in the rare End City inside a floating ship structure. Since End Cities can only be explored after a player defeats the Ender Dragon, the Elytra can only be obtained after the game's underlying story is completed.
Initially, the Elytra can only be used to glide from elevated places. However, it can later be used with a firework rocket to speed up exploration in Minecraft.
Firework rockets are items that can be crafted with paper and gunpowder. They can be used by selecting right-click while holding them. They can also be utilized for putting on a fireworks show with different firework stars, but one of their main uses is to launch players off the ground while using the Elytra.
The trick is to double jump while on the ground to activate the Elytra, then quickly using a firework rocket to launch into the air. Once this is done, use another firework rocket to get a boost and fly forward. This is the fastest and easiest method of exploring Minecraft's world quickly.
Using riptide-enchanted trident during rain
The trident is a special weapon that cannot be crafted but must be obtained from drowned zombies. A trident-exclusive enchantment called riptide allows you to fly with the trident whenever it is thrown in a certain direction. However, this enchantment only works when you are in contact with water.
That said, another great way to travel and explore Minecraft quickly is by using a riptide-enchanted trident when it is raining. Since you will remain wet during the rain, you can infinitely use the trident to fly across the world.
Of course, this only applies to the Overworld areas, specifically where it rains. This means that it cannot be used in cold biomes, where it snows.
