While Minecraft is primarily a single-player game, it can also be enjoyed with loads of users from across the globe. Players can join other multiplayer servers or create their own. Each multiplayer server is completely unique and can have different themes and environments. However, when it comes to anarchy servers, chaos is the only theme that is constant.
Here is a small peek at what anarchy servers look like and what goes on in them.

Almost every popular public or private Minecraft server has some ground rules made by its owner. These are generally placed so that every player can enjoy the server equally and not create any chaos while in it.
Of course, some rules are often broken to create more drama and fun, but players in these servers still remain civil and under control.
The exact opposite happens in anarchy servers. As the name suggests, these multiplayer lobbies hardly have any rules to govern players from what they can do. The complete lack of regulations allows gamers to go as crazy as they can in Minecraft.
What takes place in Minecraft anarchy servers?
Since anarchy servers generally do not have any rules, players are allowed to wreak havoc on them. Several popular anarchy servers have certain chaotic activities like killing new players over and over again, removing any resource from the spawn area, griefing bases, looting valuables, and more.
While these can sound like regular griefing activities, some go so far as to compile certain codes that can massively affect the server. A handful of players, who are skilled enough in programming, try to get backdoor access to the server, create extremely overpowered weapons, enter creative mode, and more.
Most seasoned anarchy server players also use certain hack clients to give them the ability to enter spectator mode, ride horses in special ways, elytra hacks, flying boats, auto-clickers, and more.
Since there are no rules regarding communication as well, some of the most toxic players dwell in these anarchy servers, spewing racial slurs and even creating signs and symbols in the world that are widely deemed unethical.
The most famous anarchy server in Minecraft
If players have ever searched about anarchy servers in the game, chances are that they have heard of the server called 2b2t. It is by far the biggest, most famous, and oldest anarchy server and has been around even before the game was released officially released in 2011. It was created by a player named Hausemaster.
2b2t stands for 2builders2tools, a parody of Hausemaster's Team Fortress 2 group, 2f2f (2fort2furious). This server has experienced almost all kinds of griefers, and toxic players, and has gone through some of the biggest server exploits, intentional lagging crimes, and more.
Since the name 2b2t became so popular, newer anarchy servers started using similar names like 6b6t, 9b9t, and more.
