How to use rabbit's hide in Minecraft?
When players obtain a rabbit hide, there are essentially three ways you can use them in Minecraft.
1) Crafting leather item
Rabbit hide comes from a relatively smaller animal. Hence, it is essentially a smaller version of leather that players get by eliminating cows. This is why rabbit hide can also be crafted into one leather item. Players can place four rabbit hide items in the crafting table as shown in the picture above to get one leather item.
2) Crafting bundle (in the future)
Rabbit hide can also be used to craft bundles in Minecraft. These are useful pouch-like items in which players can store a stack worth of items. Either one item can be stacked to 64 units, or different items can be stored up to 64 units. This item only takes one inventory space and can also be shared with friends by dropping it without spilling out any of its contents.
The bundle can be crafted with six rabbit hides and two strings as shown in the picture above.
It is worth noting that bundles are not yet out in the game. However, Mojang Studios recently mentioned they are introducing it in upcoming beta and preview versions. It will soon be officially added with an update.
3) Trading for emeralds
Finally, the last use of a rabbit hide is to trade with a leatherworker villager. As the name suggests, this professional villager deals with all kinds of leather and hides. Once it reaches journeyman level, you can trade nine rabbit hides for one emerald.
