At first, Dregora was the name of a mod that was particularly designed for the RLCraft modpack. This mod was essentially a world generator that created hundreds of unique biomes and objects like plants, blocks, items, and more. It was made by NLBlackEagle back in early 2023. Dregora was essentially a better version of vanilla Minecraft world generator, which was initially seen in Ancient Realms multiplayer servers on the sandbox.

After the mod's initial release and popularity, RLCraft's team, including the owner, Shivaxi, started working with NLBlackEagle and his team to release the RLCraft Dregora modpack. NLBlackEagle and his brother NLBlackHeavenNL envisioned RLCraft Dregora as an endless adventure designed just for the original modpack, with the primary goal of enlivening the terrain generation.

This modpack offers more than 300 new biomes, bosses, mobs, structures, mechanics, mob variants, and a whole new game loop with the goal of immersing players and pulling them into its world with a full storyline in its expansive lore.

The developers also warned players that similar to RLCraft, players could die quite a lot in this modpack, since the difficulty quotient has not been reduced even the slightest. The RLCraft Dregora remains one of the toughest modpacks for Minecraft.

Since RLCraft Dregora is a complicated and massive modpack, it should be installed through CurseForge's App. The website has its own Windows app through which players can download and manage mods, modpacks, and other third-party features for the sandbox.
