Sky Grid in Minecraft

Sky Grid is a mod for the game that completely changes how Minecraft is played. With the mod, you do not start the game in a particular biome. Not just that, you do not start the game on the ground as well. You start it in a void-like sky with an almost infinite grid made of different blocks. The blocks run in both the X, Y, and Z directions, creating a three-dimensional matrix of random blocks.

You begin in one of these blocks. Finding loot chests is very rare and players need to mine different blocks and use these resources to build bases, weapons, and tools to progress ahead in the game. The title gets really interesting as you start building a base and exploring different regions of the grid to find important items.

What makes it so challenging is traversal. Since there is a gap between every block in the grid, you have to be really good at jumping and moving around. One wrong step and you would start falling down, ultimately to your death.
