What structure has the best loot in Minecraft?

When players first enter a new Minecraft world, they can either dig down to find useful resources or explore the world to find a structure that offers loot. In recent years, Mojang has added lots of new structures that give loads of loot to players. Some items that were hard to get, are now easy to obtain particularly because of new structures making them common.

When it comes to the best loot from a structure, the latest Trial Chamber takes the cake. The underground structure was released with Minecraft 1.21 update and made some extremely rare items quite common after its release. Moreover, it has easy-to-get storage blocks that have decent loot.

Note: This article is subjective and solely reflects the writer's opinion. Several other structures like Ancient City and End City have good loot as well.

Trial Chamber's most prized loot is locked behind two kinds of vaults: regular trial vault, and ominous vault. These two can be opened with two separate keys, which are found by defeating trial spawners of any kind.

While regular trial vaults are opened by trial keys from normal trial spawners, the ominous vaults can only be opened by keys from ominous trial spawners. These are just regular spawners that convert into an ominous state when a player drinks an ominous bottle and goes near the block. This essentially starts the ominous trial, which is a much more difficult version of regular trial spawners.

A regular trial vault can offer players emeralds, arrows of poison, iron ingots, wind charges, diamonds, golden apples, enchanted books, etc. On the other hand, an ominous trial vault has a higher chance of giving emeralds, arrows of slowness, flow armor trim, and even an enchanted golden apple.

Since the ominous trial vault has a 22.5% chance of giving an enchanted golden apple, the food item now becomes quite common if players keep farming them in different Trial Chambers.

When players roam around the Trial Chamber, they will find trial spawners that will summon various kinds of mobs. When all the mobs and challenges are complete, it will go into a cooldown period and offer some basic loot to players. These are special spawners that also offer players rewards when they are defeated.

Furthermore, the structure will have randomly decorated pots and chests that have all kinds of loot like iron ingots, arrows, emeralds, diamonds, etc. Some chests can also have random trial keys that can be used to open vaults.

The Trial Chamber is a great structure to get emeralds from, which can later be used to buy items from villagers.
