After the Ender Cup, the Minecraft Championship (MCC) is returning with a bang with MCC Twitch Rivals in San Diego. This is an official tournament that is held multiple times a year where 40 content creators team up in fours and compete against each other in various minigames made by a team named Noxcrew. This time, there will be a special MCC that will be held locally as a Twitch Rivals.

On August 20, MCC's official X account announced that they will be hosting a new tournament, this time in the upcoming TwitchCon that will take place in San Diego, California. They mentioned that the event will be held on September 21, which is a week from now.
Later on, when they announced the first five teams that will participate in the MCC Twitch Rivals, they mentioned that the event would take place exactly at 7 pm BST (8 pm CET, 12 am IST, 11 am PST).
Where to watch the event?
The tournament will be hosted locally at TwitchCon San Diego, and most of the content creators will stream from their respective official handles on Twitch itself.
Fans can open Twitch when the MCC commences and tune into their favorite Minecraft/gaming entertainer to watch the tournament. Furthermore, the official TwitchCon handle can also stream the entire event.

Other details about the MCC Twitch Rivals
Though this particular MCC is the 51st event that the Noxcrew team has hosted, it is only the fourth that is held locally where teams will be connected via a LAN. As mentioned previously, it is the third-ever MCC that will be held as a Twitch Rivals. The first one was held on October 2023, and the second one on June 30, 2024.
Furthermore, this is also the third MCC that will have prize money, since it is part of the Twitch Rivals events. The prize pool is $50,000 and the winning team will receive $5,360, while the rest of the teams receive $4,960. The values will be divided between the members of each team.
