The Minecraft Championship has collaborated with Mojang to introduce an all-new competitive tournament known as the Ender Cup, where beloved content creators will come together and battle for supremacy to commemorate the game's 15th anniversary. But when does the Ender Cup take place? According to the hosts, the Ender Cup will kick off on July 27, 2024.
Like many Minecraft Championships in the past, 10 teams of creators will battle across a slate of minigames until only one is left standing. This collaborative competitive event will be streamed live on both Twitch and YouTube beginning at 1:00 pm EDT.
What to know about the Minecraft Championship's Ender Cup

Although the teams and confirmed participants haven't been announced quite yet, the Minecraft Championship Ender Cup has already released a slate of minigames that participants will battle in. The minigames have been chosen due to their connection to the celebration of the history of Mojang's beloved sandbox game, including the following game modes:
- Parkour Warrior
- Survival Games
- Grid Runners
- Hole in the Wall
- To Get to the Other Side
- Sky Battle
- Meltdown
- Ace Race
- Dodgebolt
In all likelihood, the participant teams will battle across the first seven minigames to determine the final two highest-ranked teams, which will then compete in Dodgebolt until a winner is crowned for the Ender Cup.
While the participants on each team haven't been confirmed, the following team names/themes will be taking part in the MCC Ender Cup:
- Red Rabbits
- Orange Ocelots
- Yellow Yaks
- Lime Llamas
- Green Geckos
- Cyan Coyotes
- Aqua Axolotls
- Blue Bats
- Purple Pandas
- Pink Parrots
Those interested can watch the tournament by heading to the site Mcc.live, which will contain all the YouTube and Twitch streams of the participants. Fans can watch their favorite Minecraft content creator's POV during the competition. A spectator stream will also be made available on the same site if watchers would prefer a more generalized view of the tournament.
It's also worth noting that in addition to the streams, players can join the official MCC Island Java Edition server at play.mccisland.net in the lead-up to the tournament to try out the competition's minigames themselves. This way, even watchers can enjoy a little bit of what the Ender Cup offers, including a jaunt through the history of Mojang's smash hit sandbox title.
