Multi-time world champion Anissa Meksen is gearing up for war at ONE Fight Night 6: Superbon vs Allazov at Prime Video inside enemy territory this January 13 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
The entire card will stream live in US primetime and is free for Amazon Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
‘C18’ will be looking to silence the passionate Thai crowd against hometown heroine Stamp Fairtex. They'' collide in the promotion’s first-ever women's special mixed-rules bout.
Meksen has been flawless inside the circle so far, winning her first three bouts with relative ease.

The French-Algerian striking machine will now take on her toughest test yet against the former two-sport world champion. We’ll also get a glimpse of how Meksen fares in mixed martial arts since this fight will alternate between Muay Thai and MMA rules in between rounds.
Earlier, we pointed out Stamp Faritex’s three biggest keys to victory. Now, let’s dive in on what Anissa Meksen needs to do to get her hand raised this Saturday.
#3. Anissa Meksen must earn Stamp’s respect with speed and power
It would be wise for Meksen to take the home crowd out of the equation early in the fight. She can do that by imposing her apparent striking superiority as soon as the bell rings.
Apart from her world-class skills, Meksen is also a high-IQ fighter who’s capable of adapting to a different style mid-fight. But for this one, the 34-year-old must take on the role of the aggressor and have Stamp feel the might of her speed and power right away.
Anissa Meksen has the ability to keep Stamp guessing with her intricate yet extremely powerful combinations. Her boxing is much crisper, while her vast experience should allow her to find her rhythm faster.
Once Stamp gets a taste of Meksen’s striking mastery, she’ll think twice before mounting any offense of her own. We rarely see Stamp be gun-shy in a fight, and Meksen does possess the ability to do that.
Plus, if Stamp gets bested on the feet early, she’ll grow more desperate to take the fight to the ground if this reaches the MMA portion of the bout.
This will make the Thai fighter more predictable and prone to mistakes and counterattacks from the cerebral Meksen.
#2. Anissa Meksen must attack relentlessly in the first round
We’re not saying that Meksen should throw everything but the kitchen sink in the first three minutes of the fight. After all, it’s a four-round match and she must conserve her energy, especially in rounds two and four where grappling is allowed.
Then again, the sooner ‘C18’ finishes this fight, the better it will be for her. And the Phuket Fight Club star does have the pedigree to rock Stamp early.
Anissa Meksen should go for the kill if the opportunity presents itself, therefore eliminating any chances of going into the MMA rounds where she’s at a disadvantage.
Sure, she can still light up Stamp on the feet in the MMA rounds, but the threat of takedowns could hinder her ability to go all out.
Let’s not forget that Meksen has already vowed to finish Stamp in under a round, so we’ll hold her to her word.
#1. Anissa Meksen must avoid the clinch
Stamp has already bared her game plan of disrupting Meksen’s rhythm by closing the distance. The Thai star said she’ll gladly bash Meksen’s face with elbows once she gets her in a Thai clinch.
Meksen has already proved she can hold her own in the clinch and has a wide arsenal of compact knees and elbows that do a ton of damage. However, why take the risk and play into Stamp’s objective?
‘C18’ has insane reflexes and fiber twitch muscles to disengage whenever the Thai gets too close for comfort. She can also pepper her with nasty combos every time Stamp dares to come in.
Since transitioning to MMA, Stamp has also used the Thai clinch to complete takedowns – another reason why Anissa Meksen should avoid it at all costs.
For sure, the French-Algerian striker polished her takedown and submission defense for this bout, but you can never know. Stamp has already submitted a Commonwealth wrestling world champion in Ritu Phogat, so it’s best not to play fire with her on the ground.
