Prior to the Diaz loss, McGregor had won fifteen consecutive fights. The Irishman doesn't like losing and rarely does. That's why he has won both the Featherweight and Lightweight Championships.
Khabib has never lost in 26 professional fights, the longest unbeaten record in the sport today. His most recent victory at UFC 223 saw him win the Lightweight Championship that had been vacated by McGregor.
Khabib and McGregor are born to fight and they live to win. What is certain, at UFC 229, while both of them may not lose, both cannot be victorious.
