When they entered the Octagon, McGregor had already done a number on Aldo's psyche with a lot of smack talk in the lead up to the fight. He was inside Aldo's head, and within seconds of the fight starting, a combination and a left hand shot from him aimed at Aldo's head was all he needed to finish the fight.
