Carlos Condit derailed a few unbeaten prospects back in his heyday. But perhaps one of the most memorable highlights of Condit's career came at UFC 132 when he took on previously undefeated Dong Hyun Kim.

In 2011, Kim was rapidly rising among the welterweight ranks after compiling five straight victories in the UFC, his no-contest with Karo Parisyan aside. But an encounter with Condit put the South Korean's career to a screeching halt.

The fight began with Kim taking down Condit, who quickly reversed position and found his footing. After what appeared to be a lackadaisical stretch of action, Condit threw a head kick that didn't even come close to finding its mark.

However, Condit caught his opponent off-guard when he quickly charged in and connected with a beautifully-timed flying knee to the head. The former WEC champ followed up with a few more strikes for good measure as Kim was sent to the realm of ghosts and shadows.

#1. Carlos Condit avenges his loss to Martin Kampmann at UFC Fight Night 27

Carlos Condit's octagon debut was unceremoniously spoiled by Martin Kampmann at UFC Fight Night 27. 'Hitman' earned a controversial split decision, snapping Condit's eight-fight winning streak

The loss did nothing to derail Condit's climb up the welterweight ranks. 'The Natural Born Killer' bounced back by stringing together five consecutive victories, including an interim title-winning performance against Nick Diaz at UFC 143.

Unfortunately, Condit ran into a wall when he crossed paths with undisputed champion Georges St-Pierre in a title unification bout. He then lost his next fight against Johny Hendricks at UFC 158.

As if he needed more motivation to rebound from two straight defeats, Condit was given the opportunity to avenge his debut loss to Kampmann at UFC Fight Night 27. According to Condit, his rematch against the Dane is his favorite fight of all time as he was essentially fighting for his life as a title contender.

Sure enough, Condit would not allow himself to lose three straight as he engaged in an all-out battle against Kampmann. The former interim champ scored the TKO win late in round four to snap a two-fight skid and get one back over Kampmann.
