When it comes to creative Halloween costumes, it doesn’t get much better than this, especially for MMA fighters.

Dominick Cruz pulled off the iconic Ron Burgundy look with ease. The details are key: Cruz not only sports the signature Ron Burgundy mustache, but he also has the same suit, outdated hair, and ugly tie. Even Cruz’s dog is doing an excellent job in the role of Ron Burgundy’s four-legged friend Baxter.

On top of all that, Cruz trains MMA out of San Diego, the setting of the famous Anchorman movies. It is also the genesis behind the “Stay Classy, San Diego” quote, which Cruz has referenced in his Instagram post.

Narmo’s outfit includes just about everything Viking-related other than a boat.

Of course, he is equipped with a battle-ax—because the living giant isn’t scary enough already—draped in pelts, fur, and armor. Additionally, he has his face painted in the style of traditional Viking warrior war paint.

Narmo included a variety of pictures of himself on Instagram in costume, alongside two others dressed similarly ahead of a photoshoot. The undefeated MMA fighter embraces his Nordic heritage, making for a perfect Halloween presentation - scary, historical, and detailed. The only suitable spot for Narmo and his crew is atop this list.
