Let me preface this point by saying that today, McGregor will make much more in the UFC than in the WWE. But, if he had joined the WWE before the UFC is what it is today, he could’ve made a hell of a lot more money. And, as he himself as admitted, that’s what he cares about the most in the world.

He would’ve been the kind of superstar to change the landscape of pro-wrestling and after attaining global superstardom, he could’ve negotiated a contract that blows what he’s earning in the UFC out of the water and also cashed in on extra things such as merchandise sells and the like.

If McGregor had decided to join the WWE instead of the UFC and enjoyed the same level of success, he would’ve made more money. No doubt about it.
