BJ Penn, also known as Jay Dee Penn, is a practitioner of Brazilian Jiu Jutsu and a huge part of the UFC. Fighting in Mixed Martial Arts since 1997, he first came to UFC in 2001. He left the company in 2004 after having lost his first-ever UFC Championship there, and then returned to the company in 2006.

He would win the UFC Lightweight Championship numerous times over the span of his career. Unfortunately, his career of late has not been much to look back on, as he lost the last five fights that he was a part of.

His last fight was in 2017 when he lost to Dennis Siver. He was inducted into the inaugural UFC Hall of Fame earlier this year.

Penn is one of the richest fighters in UFC history, as $22 Million.
