#2. Brock Lesnar overcomes adversity against Shane Carwin

Shane Carwin handed Brock Lesnar one of the biggest tests of his MMA career.

After stuffing two of Lesnar's early takedown attempts, Carwin hurt the defending UFC champion and put him on his back while launching a barrage of strikes. It caused Lesnar to start bleeding with more than three minutes left in round one.

With Carwin gassed out from delivering the beating on Brock Lesnar, it was up to 'The Beast Incarnate' to steer things around in round two. After sizing up his opponent for about a minute, Lesnar stepped in with a left cross and then went for a takedown, this time successfully.

Brock Lesnar pinned Shane Carwin, landed a bunch of strikes on his body from the mount position, and then transitioned to an arm-triangle choke. Carwin seemed resistant at first, but as Lesnar gripped into the choke, he tapped out.

By defeating the interim UFC champion after suffering a vicious beating, Lesnar proved himself once again in MMA. After defending his belt for the second consecutive time, Lesnar told Joe Rogan:

"I just had to weather the storm. He (Carwin) has got some heavy shots. I just had to hang back and I knew he was getting tired. Each shot was getting less dramatic than the other and I thought, 'I'll just let him go.'"

#1. Brock Lesnar shoves Daniel Cormier, calls out the UFC heavyweight division

UFC 226: Brock Lesnar and Daniel Cormier get in a tussle

Daniel Cormier defeated Stipe Miocic at UFC 226 to become UFC heavyweight champion. After the win, Cormier called Brock Lesnar, who was in attendance at the arena, to the octagon.

Brock Lesnar came wearing a smile but, as he neared Cormier, shoved the newly-crowned champ. The interaction between DC and Lesnar initially seemed friendly but went south once 'The Beast' caught everyone off-guard.

Letting his aggression be known to the MMA community, including Daniel Cormier, Brock Lesnar said:

"Let me tell you something. I walked into this building and watched the heavyweight disasters from the beginning. Ngannou the piece of sh*t. Miocic the piece of sh*t. DC, I'm coming for you, motherf***er."

After his monolog, Brock Lesnar pushed the mic into the camera and apparently cracked the lens. He showed no regard for Joe Rogan as well, whose hand he drove into the camera along with the mic.

With this incident, Lesnar reminded everyone why he was once the baddest man in MMA.
