UFC superstars like Georges St-Pierre have always carried themselves professionally in the sport. However, Conor McGregor has been the polar opposite. Be it UFC 194, UFC 205, or UFC 229; it seems McGregor enjoys making his rivals wait for him.

He has often missed the clock for his press conferences, leaving the media perplexed and UFC boss Dana White fuming. And it's not coming in late for press conferences that makes Conor McGregor a cocky fighter but his unapologetic behavior that does. He once explained why he was often late to events:

"I've always been late. I was always late for school. I was so late, so many times, that they ended up saying to me, 'Well, if you could just show up by 10, we will be happy... They caved, yeah?! I took that victory.. To be honest, I've been in so many time zones [recently] that I just don't touch my clock. I don't change it any more. F*** that. Time does not exist; clocks only exist."

At the UFC 205 pre-fight press conference, the Irishman explained why he often ran behind schedule, saying:

"I'm sorry, I'm late, I just don't give a f**k.. I operate on my time. I operate on my own time, and I'm running early on my time."

Conor McGregor was part of UFC's 'Go Big' press conference in 2016, along with stars such as Donald Cerrone, Dustin Poirier and Rafael Dos Anjos. The event saw a verbal back and forth between McGregor and RDA.

Rafael Dos Anjos was replying to a media person who asked him whether he would fight Conor McGregor. The former UFC lightweight champion said he would not mind 'easy money', even though his focus at the time was 'Cowboy', his next opponent.

McGregor interrupted RDA and said the Brazilian-American would never miss out on a fight with the Irishman, as it would make him rich. This was perhaps one of the biggest moments where the 'Notorious' proved how cocky he was. He told Dos Anjos:

"Ask yourself truthfully. If Dana rang you and said, 'You don't have to fight Cerrone, you can fight McGregor', would you take it? You're damn righ,t you would take it. Because I'll change your whole life. I can make you rich. I'll change your bum life. When you sign to fight me, it's a celebration. You ring back home, you ring your wife, 'Baby we done it, we're rich, baby. Conor McGregor made us rich. Break out the red panties..'"

Conor McGregor also said that just like everyone else in that conference, Rafael Dos Anjos would also fight him without thinking much. Interestingly, no other fighter present there said anything to the Irishman. McGregor told RDA:

"So don't say you would not take that fight cause you would take that fight like everyone else up here would take the fight against me if there was an offer, regardless of belts or any of that sh*t. I'm the money fight in all weight divisions, so f**k everybody else up here."
