Despite not being a recognized as official UFC gold, the BMF title fight, specially designed for the UFC 244 battle between Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz, drew massive attention. Then-POTUS Donald Trump also made an appearance in the arena.
Unfortunately, the fight did not go as everyone expected. The bout ended in a doctor's stoppage and Jorge Masvidal was declared the winner after the cageside physician deemed Nate Diaz's cut to be too bad for him to continue.
As promised, The Rock wrapped the BMF belt around the waist of 'Gamebred' after Bruce Buffer announced him as the official winner.
#1 When Becky Lynch voiced over a UFC 264 promo for Conor McGregor
BT Sport brought together arguably the best that Ireland has to offer in their latest UFC 264 promo. Former WWE RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch lent her voice to the one-minute clip that documented the highs and lows of her fellow Irishman Conor McGregor's incredible UFC career so far.
The spine-chilling promo video dropped with less than a week remaining before Conor McGregor locks horns with Dustin Poirier for a third time in what promises to be the biggest UFC pay-per-view of the year.
"Some are born to take the middle path, the safe stretch of road but us warriors are born with something in us. The light in the dark, the fire and the ice, the good and the bad. It takes us down a different path, a path to glory that threatens to destroy us. For each battle is not fought in the canvas but the arena of the mind, where there is a fine line between genius and madness. Loved for the enemies slain, loathed for the destruction left behind. For the most notorious, it's not where the journey takes them but when the journey ends. So go forth brother, and let the battle begin," said Becky Lynch in the promo.
Becky Lynch did an excellent job with the voice-over, which goes on to show that 'The Man' can make her presence felt even when she is on hiatus from WWE television.
