But, one needs to be good enough to grab that status. Apart from entertainment, McGregor has shared the cage with names like Jose Aldo, Eddie Alvarez, Nate Diaz. And defeated all of them.

His straight left to the 18-0, Pound for Pound great Aldo in 13 seconds made for one of the fastest finishes in UFC title matches.

Next up was the lightweight title bout with Eddie Alvarez who was knocked out early in the second round. The Notorious is the first UFC fighter to hold both the featherweight and lightweight titles.

It remains to be seen if he can defend it at UFC 229.
