One of the other segments that was somewhat "filler" was the one featuring Sami Zayn and Cesaro. However, it was quite funny and Elias added life to it as well. We loved how Cesaro refused to play the cowbell once the crowd chanted for it.

However, Elias did a great job as a babyface and Braun Strowman would come out to save the day after a 2-on-1 beatdown. For some reason, Shinsuke Nakamura was off television this week and Strowman came out without his Intercontinental Championship to save the day and bulldoze both Sami Zayn and Cesaro while also squashing the security.

This looks to be a new alliance brewing on SmackDown and from the look of things, there aren't any major plans for Braun Strowman in WrestleMania season, which is somewhat disappointing. However, we liked Strowman and Elias' brief feud on RAW a few years ago, so we're interested to see where this leads to. Either way, the babyfaces need to go over at the end, otherwise they'll lose far too much momentum.
