It has been seven years since Kimbo Slice, real name Kevin Ferguson, and Dhafir Harris, aka Dada 5000, exhausted themselves in the cage during their MMA bout.
The former street fighters settled their long-standing beef at Bellator 149, which took place at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. The bout served as the co-main event and there was plenty of animosity between the two friends-turned-bitter rivals.
It was a very underwhelming fight, especially when taking their respective backgrounds, knockout power, and animosity into account. The UFC veteran had a great start to the fight as he secured an early takedown, but he and Dada 5000 became increasingly fatigued as the bout progressed.

Referee 'Big' John McCarthy stopped the fight at 1:32 in the third round after the former TUF contestant landed punches that led to Harris moving away and dropping to the mat. Despite earning a knockout win, the bout was later ruled a no-contest after it was revealed that Slice failed his pre-fight drug test.
Bellator 149 was the final time both men competed in the cage. Slice, unfortunately, passed away four months later due to heart failure at 42 years old. Harris has since transitioned to the promoter side of the sport as he is the founder of bare-knuckle boxing promotion BYB Extreme.
Kimbo Slice competed in season 10 of The Ultimate Fighter
Kimbo Slice had a lot of detractors during his foray into MMA and one of his biggest was UFC President Dana White.
Despite not being a believer in his abilities, White offered the former street fighter an opportunity in season 10 of The Ultimate Fighter, which featured all heavyweights. Former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson selected the former YouTube sensation with his first pick.
The backyard brawler was eliminated in the preliminary round after losing a unanimous decision to eventual winner Roy 'Big Country' Nelson. However, he made the most of his experience and earned another opportunity in the TUF season 10 finale. There, he defeated Houston Alexander via unanimous decision in a 215lb catchweight bout.
