Alexa Grasso

Karen Alexa Grasso Montes, a Mexican professional mixed martial artist who competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship's (UFC) women's flyweight division, is the current UFC Women's Flyweight Champion.

Grasso also works as an analyst for "UFC Espanol," a Spanish-language show. As of September 6, 2024, she holds the women's pound-for-pound No. 1 spot.

Grasso made her professional MMA debut in her home nation of Mexico in 2012. In her first 18 months, she went undefeated, winning five fights (three by TKO and two by decision).

Grasso made her debut in the UFC on November 5, 2016. She defeated Heather Jo Clark in the Dos Anjos vs. Ferguson main event of "The Ultimate Fighter Latin America 3" in the fight in Mexico City by unanimous decision.

Grasso fought Valentina Shevchenko for the women's flyweight championship at UFC 285 in Las Vegas. Even though Grasso was a massive underdog, she used a face crank in the fourth round to win the bout and title.
