Alexander Hernandez made his professional mixed martial arts debut on October 20, 2012, against Dimitre Ivy at Kickass Productions. He secured a unanimous decision win to take off his career with a win. He went on to amass spectacular career stats of 8 wins and 1 loss before making his way into the UFC. Hernandez was welcomed in the octagon by Beneil Dariush at UFC 222, he defeated Dariush by a first-round KO.
