The Ultimate Fighting Championship is bringing another exciting fight night event which is scheduled to be held at the UFC Apex Facility in Enterprise, Nevada, USA on July 20, 2024. Amanda Lemos is one of the leading professional mixed martial artists competing in the UFC. She made her professional debut in the sport on July 17, 2014, against Laura Falcao. Lemos made quick work of Falcao by defeating her via a first-round TKO and starting her mixed martial arts career on a winning note. She fought in multiple fight promotions and eventually made her promotional debut in the UFC on July 16, 2017.

Amanda Lemos was welcomed into the octagon by Leslie Smith at UFC Fight Night: Nelson vs. Ponzinibbio. She suffered a second-round TKO defeat in the fight, however, Lemos bounced back to winning ways by defeating Miranda Granger in a strawweight showdown via first-round submission. She currently ranks No. 3 in the women’s strawweight division and is one of the leading contenders in the division.

Amanda Lemos’ upcoming opponent, Virna Jandiroba, reigned as the women’s strawweight champion during her time at Invicta FC. She made her professional mixed martial arts debut on June 15, 2013, against Joana Santana and picked up a dominant first-round submission win to start her career with a win. Jandiroba compiled a clinical record of 14 wins and no loss before eventually making her way into the UFC.

On her promotional debut in the organization, Virna Jandiroba squared off against Carla Esparza at UFC Fight Night: Jacare vs. Hermansson on April 27, 2019. She came up short in the fight and lost by a unanimous decision. Jandiroba registered her first win in the promotion in her next fight in which she defeated Mallory Martin by a second-round submission. She is currently ranked as No. 5 in the UFC’s women’s strawweight division.
