Amanda “The Real Deal” Serrano was born on October 9, 1988, in Carolina, Puerto Rico. She is one of the most accomplished professional boxers considered one of the greatest female boxers of all time. Serrano has held world titles across a record seven weight classes, which includes gaining nine major world titles throughout her career. Besides her tremendous boxing career, she has also competed in MMA, making her presence known throughout combat sports.

Her career started to take off when she moved to New York with her family and began training with her older sister Cindy Serrano, who would also eventually turn professional. Amanda turned professional in 2009 and immediately began her ascent, taking on tough opponents with an aggressive fighting style and knockout power. Her most notable wins include defeating Daniela Bermudez and later Sarah Mahfoud to hold the WBO, WBC, IBO, and IBF titles. In 2024, she is regarded as one of the best active female boxers and one of the best featherweights by organizations such as The Ring and BoxRec. Her next outing is a rematch against Katie “The Bray Bomber” Katie on November 15, 2024.
