Arman Tsarukyan and Damir Ismagulov are set to be involved in one of the most exciting bouts at UFC Fight Night: Cannonier vs. Strickland this weekend. Both fighters have impressive records in the organization, with Ismagulov currently unbeaten in the UFC after five bouts.
'Qazaq' amassed a 5-0 record quickly in the organization, beating the likes of Alex Gorgees, Joel Alvarez, Thiago Moises, Rafael Alves, and most recently Guram Kutateladze.
His upcoming opponent, Tsarukyan, isn't unbeaten in the UFC but still has an impressive resume. The 26-year-old suffered his two UFC defeats against Mateusz Gamrot and newly-crowned lightweight champion Islam Makhachev. Tsarukyan currently has a UFC record of five wins and two losses.

During his seven-fight career in the UFC, Arman Tsarukyan has managed to beat Olivier Aubin-Mercier, Davi Ramos, Matt Frevola, Christos Giagos, and Joel Alvarez. The 26-year-old is still young in the MMA world but has seemingly struggled to beat the highest-level opposition.
Despite Damir Ismagulov having a better UFC record than Tsarukyan, the 31-year-old is yet to win a bout in the organization via stoppage. 'Ahalkalakets' stopped both Christos Giagos and Joel Alvarez during his five-fight organizational winning streak.

Has Arman Tsarukyan ever lost via stoppage in the UFC?
No. Despite Arman Tsarukyan losing twice in the UFC, the 26-year-old has never lost a bout via stoppage in the organization. Upon making his UFC debut, Tsarukyan lost to Islam Makhachev via unanimous decision after three rounds of fighting.
Mateusz Gamrot also managed to defeat Tsarukyan, with the Polish fighter getting a unanimous decision victory against 'Ahalkalakets' in his most recent outing in the UFC.
Tsarukyan faces a tough test this weekend, taking on Damir Ismagulov at UFC Fight Night: Cannonier vs. Strickland. Ismagulov has only lost once in his professional MMA career, with Ramazan Esenbaev beating 'Qazaq' via unanimous decision back in 2015.
However, Arman Tsarukyan can take confidence from Damir Ismagulov's previous outing against Guram Kutateladze. Many felt Ismagulov was lucky to get his hand raised, with 'Qazaq' narrowly beating Kutateladze via split decision at UFC Fight Night: Kattar vs. Emmett.
Ismagulov will be hoping to climb into the top 10 rankings within the UFC's lightweight division by beating Tsarukyan. However, the 26-year-old will be keen to end his losing streak, with Mateusz Gamrot getting the better of him last time out.
