Aung La N Sang looked up to Yushin Okami

The 37-year-old Aung La is looking forward to his match against 'Thunder' at ONE 163 because Okami is a fighter that he looked up to. He now gets to fight against an opponent he's respected for most of his professional life.

While speaking in an interview, 'The Burmese Python' explained:

“It’s very cool, it’s like you getting to work with somebody you looked up to in the industry, you know? For me to be able to work with him, and when I say work it’s to fight him, to compete against him. It’s very cool.”

The two veteran MMA fighters have fought the best in the world and are now on a collision course.

Aung La N Sang added that he wants to show off his still-growing skills. After earning a win at ONE 163, he wants to make a run for the title. 'The Burmese Python' told the South China Morning Post:

"I need to be more well-rounded. And I need to be better in all aspects of mixed martial arts. That's the reason why I still compete. It's because I want to keep growing, and I want to keep evolving as a mixed martial artist.”
