Aung La N Sang gave the best piece of advice to ONE newcomer Roberto Soldic, ahead of his middleweight debut fight at ONE on Prime Video 5.
With two epic double-header cards featuring next week in Singapore, ONE on Prime Video 4 and ONE 163, the pressure is on for its key athletes to deliver the best performances of their careers. Each fighter will manifest how well they’ve prepared for their fights in terms of how hard they’ve worked on perfecting their craft during training.
Speaking about Roberto Soldic in particular, who is expected to make his fiery debut at ONE on Prime Video 5, Aung La advised that anything can happen in a match no matter how prepared fighters think they are.
He told The MMA Superfan:

“If your reaction time is a little bit off then you’re screwed. It’s like one of those things, you know in a gym, right, you have your good days and you have your bad days. If you have your best day and your opponent is on his worst day, like anything can happen.”
Aung La N Sang trained a bit with Soldic when the Croatian power-hitter visited the US two years ago. He was impressed by his speed, striking power and technical prowess. With Soldic’s fight on the horizon against the most feared middleweight contender Murad Ramazanov, the only piece of advice the Myanmar icon could give Soldic while he’s still in training mode is this:
“You wanna train hard [so] that even on your worst day you can beat anybody.”
Yushin Okami says he’s put everything he’s learned into massive showdown with Aung La N Sang
Aung La N Sang is on a collision course to ONE 163 with MMA legend Yushin Okami on November 19.
‘The Burmese Python’ is making the final touches to make sure he’s physically and mentally sound for next week’s epic showdown with one of the most prolific fighters on the roster.
It goes without saying, but Yushin Okami is an incredible athlete. Although there's been a three-year gap since his last outing at ONE: Century Part 1, the 41-year-old veteran hasn’t stopped training and is hungrier than ever to stage his comeback onto the middleweight scene.
At the ONE 163 pre-fight press conference, Okami stated:
“It will be the culmination of everything I have done in my career. Small techniques won’t work for him. I will put everything I have done in my life in mixed martial arts and everything I have learned in the past three years that has changed my thinking into this fight. I want everyone to watch that.”
