Former two-division ONE world champion Aung La N Sang is hoping to right the ship in his next outing at ONE 163. Currently in the midst of the toughest stretch of his career, 'The Burmese Python' is excited to get back on track.
The 37-year-old is gearing up to face former UFC veteran Yushin Okami on November 19. The Japanese native is just 1-2 since joining ONE in 2019—with his lone victory coming by way of a split decision against Agilan Thani.
In an exclusive interview with The MMA Superfan, Sang detailed how he's feeling in preparation for this pivotal fight:
"It’s going good, everything’s well. I am gearing for my last part of my training camp. I can’t wait to touch gloves and throw down."

As many already know, Sang is more than willing to throw down inside the circle. In fact, 10 of his 12 ONE victories have come via stoppage, including a six-fight streak in which he finished every fight.
Aung La N Sang expects to put on a master-class
'The Burmese Python' hasn't looked like himself since 2020, dropping a pair of fights. First to Reinier de Ridder, then later to Vitaly Bigdash in three of his last four outings.
However, he assures people that he'll put on a show-stopping performance in this upcoming bout. He told ONE Championship:
“It's going to be the best performance of my life. I'm going to put in the hardest camp, the smartest camp. I'm going to make sure I'm 100% the best version of myself for this one. You're only as good as your last bout and my last bout, I was not happy at all with my performance.”
The pride of Myanmar is sticking to his guns when it comes to training—claiming he isn't changing his tactics inside the Kill Cliff FC gym. Expect Sang to come out utilizing his patented pressure-filled style against Okami.
