Bo Dean Nickal, born on January 14, 1996, is an elite American professional MMA fighter who holds an unblemished record of 6 wins in 6 fights (6-0-0). He has a diverse background in both freestyle and graduated folkstyle wrestling disciplines. Currently competing in the UFC middleweight division (185 lbs), Nickal has made headlines ever since making his debut at UFC 285. At his final NCAA tournament, he dominated with pins in his first two matches and a major win in the semifinals, ultimately defeating Kollin Moore in the finals to claim the NCAA title.

This victory made him one of four Penn State wrestlers to win three NCAA National Championships and the third to be a four-time NCAA Finalist, alongside David Taylor and Jason Nolf. Nickal was awarded the Dan Hodge Trophy for the nation's best college wrestler and the Schalles Award as the US' top pinner for the second consecutive time. He also received accolades such as 2019 Co-Big Ten Wrestler of the Year, Penn State Male Athlete of the Year, and Big Ten Male Athlete of the Year.
