The former freestyle and folkstyle wrestler turned mixed martial artist, Bo Nickal, has been considered one of the bullish prospects in the middleweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Contemplated as one of the top wrestlers (with three NCAA Division I wrestling titles) to ever compete in the sport, Bo Nickal is undefeated in professional MMA. Starting his mixed martial arts career in 2022, the 28-year-old currently boasts a record of 6 wins and no losses. The majority of his wins are via submission(4) and knockout(2). Hence, it is evident that the wrestler turned mixed martial artist is fond of not just ground game but also standing.

For his previous outing, Bo Nickal faced Valentine Woodburn at UFC 290. And within 38 seconds into the first round, Nickal TKO’d Woodburn via his punches. The fight took place on July 8, 2023, in Las Vegas, United States as a main card opener matchup leading up to the main event between the former UFC featherweight champion, Alexander Volkanovski and Yair Rodriguez.
