ONE lightweight champion Christian Lee is being picked to win by former ONE heavyweight world champion 'The Truth' Brandon Vera. The Singaporean-American fighter will be looking to become a two-division world champion at ONE on Prime Video 4.
On November 18, Lee will go up in weight to challenge for the welterweight throne against Kiamrian Abbasov in the event's headlining bout. Experienced MMA fighter Brandon Vera sat down with ONE Championship to discuss the world championship fight:
"Christian’s been on the hunt for a really long time. He’s angry enough, and he’s in his prime enough. I think Christian’s going to take this one. Christian on top with elbows.”

Earlier this year, Christian Lee avenged his loss and reclaimed his lightweight throne when he stopped Ok Rae Yoon by way of knockout. With the ONE lightweight world championship secured, 'The Warrior' will be seeking another world title at welterweight. This historic clash can be enjoyed live and for free on Prime Video for all Amazon Prime Video subscribers in North America.
Christian Lee discusses becoming a double champion
Christian Lee recently discussed his motivations on why he wants to capture a second throne in ONE Championship. 'The Warrior' said in an interview with ONE:
“Well, initially, after claiming my title back, it sounded really nice to take some time off. But an opportunity like this is really just too big of a moment to let it just pass me by. And fighting for a second World Title, and a second weight division has always been a dream of mine since I started this sport.”
At ONE on Prime Video 4 on November 18, Christian Lee is aiming to accomplish his dreams by holding a world title in both the lightweight and welterweight divisions.
Lee offered a prediction on how this bout will end:
“Of course, my goal is always to finish my opponents in the first round. But technically speaking, giving Abbasov credit, how tough he is, I think that I’m going to end up wearing him down and submitting him in the third round.”
