The Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson matchup received a high-profile prediction back in August, and it came from one of the finest boxers England has ever produced, Ricky Hatton. According to him, the upcoming heavyweight boxing match will only lead to one outcome: a Tyson win.
Despite the astronomical difference in age between Paul and Tyson, Hatton believes that 'Iron Mike' will emerge victorious nonetheless. In fact, he expressed astonishment over how physical Tyson has looked in released training footage.
He said as much in an exclusive text-based interview with the Action Network:

"I think if Mike hits him, he'll knock him into the middle of next week. He looks very fast and very explosive. He looks fantastic for his age. But if you're in Jake Paul's corner, you would think, 'He is 58 years old and I'm just going to give him the first two rounds, jab and move, keep out of his range and hopefully he will gas. You'd expect him to at his age."
However, Hatton didn't completely write off Paul's chances of winning, believing that if 'The Problem Child' were to emerge victorious, it would be via decision.
"Mike will probably put all of his eggs in one basket and start early because of his age and if I was Jake, I would stay out of his jab, wait for him to slow down a bit and put my foot down on the gas. I can see Mike by knockout if he is to win or if Jake is going to win then he will win on points."
Come fight night, both men will have much to prove, especially Tyson, whose age and health have been the biggest narrative heading into the bout.
Another public figure predicted Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson
In an interview with VLAD TV, martial artist and action movie star Michael Jai White shared his thoughts on the upcoming Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson matchup. Despite the large difference in age between the two fighters, White feels that Tyson is too skilled for Paul.
"Big guys would hold Mike. Guys with long reach, that outweigh him. People that's Mike's weight? Mike's center of gravity? I don't think there's anything that's gonna stop him. Mike hits him in the body, the body doesn't move that much. I don't see how Jake survives a body attack."
