Dutch MMA star Alistair Overeem, who created shockwaves through the sports world when he defeated Brock Lesnar on his debut back in 2011, wishes to challenge the WWE mega star again, but this time in his own backyard of WWE.
Overeem’s desire to mount a challenge, if and when he joins WWE, is perfect for Lesnar who hasn’t been a part of MMA for four years, preferring to build his already massive name in the world of wrestling – where he first started out.
When asked about a possible rematch with Lesnar during a Q&A in London, Overeem said: "The Brock Lesnar fight? Maybe one day in WWE -- when I retire from real fighting."

It was unclear if Overeem’s comments were to be taken as a joke or something more snarky. Since they faced each other, Overeem and Lesnar have both had boosts in their respective careers.
After a slack period, Overeem recently signed a fresh contract with UFC and is set to face off against Andrei Arlovski in his homeland this May. The Dutchman is even considered as a strong title contender this year after putting a stop to Junior Dos Santos.
Lesnar, on the other hand is one of the highest paid stars in WWE and will be one of the stars to look out for at WrestleMania 32.
