Chase Hooper is a mixed martial artist from U.S. who started as an amateur mixed martial artist while in high school. He competed in CFFC and Titan FC before finally getting a contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He competed in five amateur mixed martial arts bouts and attained a clinical record of five wins in the five fights he fought as an amateur.

Chase Hooper took part in Dana White’s Contender Series 14, where he locked horns against Canaan Kawaihae on July 24, 2018. Both the men went head-to-head against each other throughout the three rounds of the fight. Chase Hooper was adjudged the winner by unanimous decision.

Chase Hooper made his professional debut in mixed martial arts against Edson Penado on October 7, 2017, in a lightweight bout at Rumble on the Ridge. He made quick work of Penado by clamping him in a vicious rear-naked choke, which forced Penado to submit in the very first round of the fight. He continued with a winning run of nine fights before encountering his first professional mixed martial arts loss against Alex Caceres by unanimous decision.

Chase Hooper and Alex Caceres squared off against each other at UFC 250 on June 6, 2020. The duo went through the three rounds of the fight, which was decided on the judge’s scorecard. Caceres was declared the winner by a unanimous decision. This was Hooper's second fight for the Ultimate Fighting Championship, having won his first major showdown in the promotion against Daniel Teymur on December 14, 2019.
