'Sladkiy' Anatoly Malykhin is a powerful knockout striker who also has a proficient background in freestyle wrestling. ONE Championship CEO and Chairman Chatri Sityodtong is highly impressed with the overall game of the Russian heavyweight.
Winning both of his world titles by way of knockout, Malykhin currently holds the ONE interim heavyweight world championship and the ONE light heavyweight world title.
Chatri Sityodtong had this to say about the heavyweight slugger in the ONE on Prime Video 5 post-fight press conference:
"Whatever game plan you want, his wrestling can dictate where he wants to go. I think if you look at the other heavyweights around the world, they have a big punch but they have terrible jiu-jitsu, terrible wrestling, or whatever it is."

Sityodtong added that Anatoly Malykhin might be the perfect fighter:
"Anatoly, literally, has zero holes in his game. I've seen him slip jiu-jitsu in training. Watching him train, his wrestling pedigree is, you can ask anybody in Russia about his wrestling pedigree. He's a king wrestler."

Arjan Bhullar wants to fight Anatoly Malykhin
Anatoly Malykhin may be the perfect fighting machine with an unbeaten record, but surprisingly there are still MMA fighters out there who want to face him. ONE heavyweight world champion Arjan 'Singh' Bhullar is ready for a heavyweight world title unification bout.
The Indian-Canadian fighter captured the ONE heavyweight world title with a TKO stoppage over Brandon Vera. Anatoly Malykhin earned the interim strap via knockout against Kirill Grishenko.
Bhullar, meanwhile, said that he is ready to battle. In an interview with ONE Championship, 'Singh' said:
“‘Baddest heavyweight on the planet?' Absolutely, I love that headline. I will deliver and I will deliver Anatoly’s head. You put me on that. I will deliver."
'Singh' also claimed that Malykhin is now running scared ahead of their potential world title unification showdown:
“He hasn’t posted anything since I’ve announced I was back. Check his social media. He hasn’t said a [expletive] thing. That shows you what kind of coward he really is and what he actually thinks of the situation.”
Fans are eager to see the two heavyweight kings go to war in the ONE circle. This long-overdue clash will likely be booked in 2023 with the undisputed ONE heavyweight world title on the line.
