Newly-crowned kickboxing superstar Chingiz Allazov recently shared some valuable pieces of advice to the next generation of fighters who want to achieve success.

There is no doubt Allazov has had his fair share of adversity both in his private life and kickboxing career. Career-wise, Allazov would be the first to tell you that he was bitterly disappointed in himself for not living up to the hype in his promotional debut.

Losing to Enriko Kehl by split-decision in April 2021, motivated him enough to set his ego aside and make the necessary changes. It wasn’t an easy route, but he pulled through - defeating three of the best strikers in the world to become the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix winner in 2021.

Fast-forward to the present day, Chingiz Allazov is now the new ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion. He defeated the No.1 pound-for-pound kickboxer on the planet, Superbon Singha Mawynn, with a stunning TKO knockout in the second round.

At the post-fight interview at ONE Fight Night 6, Allazov addressed the next generation of fighters who may be struggling to find themselves in the sport with the following piece of advice:

“Trust your heart. Trust your coach. Trust your team. And trust your game plan. Everyday, I say ‘God help me, please.’ I wake up and everyday I go train. I like this. I don’t have days that I say, ‘I want to sleep, I don’t like training.’ I am focused 100 percent in my mind -- 100 percent focus. I like to train everyday and I [like to] teach everyday. You have to get up everyday and go after your future.”

Chingiz Allazov offers last parting thoughts for aspiring fighters

When ‘Chinga’ Chingiz Allazov is in-between fights, he keeps busy by teaching master classes to the next generation of fighters.

As a teacher and fighter, Allazov takes his roles very seriously. Knowing that he can inspire young fighters using his platform is motivation enough to continue training and be the best version of himself.

In the same interview, the Minsk, Belarus native shared his last parting thoughts for those aspiring athletes who witnessed him make history that night:

“Guys, I am telling young fighters, only focus on your training, trust your training. Trust your life and trust your heart, and everyday you wake up, go and train. It’s safe. You’ll [improve] your techniques and move up.”
