Dana White matches Jiri Prochazka's $50,000 donation
Back in December last year, a Reddit user posted a picture of their hair tied up like Jiri Prochazka. Going by the username Butterfly105, the fan revealed that she lost her hair to chemotherapy and decided to cosplay her favorite fighter before that.

Ariel Helwani told Prochazka about the fan, who said that he wanted to know the woman and help her.

Cut to a month later, a bald Prochazka revealed during the UFC 311 press conference that he could make the acquaintance of the fan and shaved his head in her honor. He added that he was donating 1 million Czech Korunas to cancer patients as well:
"This hair was inspired by Ashley. That girl, she’s fighting with cancer. She will come tomorrow. This is my showing solidarity. Because it’s about sending the good energy. Yesterday, I reached 1 million followers on Instagram so I will give for each other 1 million [Czech Koruna] by my foundation to oncologist patients. Martial arts has something to give back, and it’s all about good energy."
Dana White, who was hosting the press conference, promptly offered to match the amount. UFC shared the heartwarming exchange on their social media accounts, where they also revealed that the woman's name is Ashly McGarity.
Merab Dvalishvili worries fans ahead of UFC 311
Some of Merab Dvalishvili's photos released after the official UFC 311 photoshoot have sparked worries about a potential staph infection.
The bantamweight champion recently shared that when he accepted the fight against Umar Nurmagomedov, he was suffering from an injury that affected his training. He refused to reveal the nature of the injury till after the fight.
The purple-red bruises on his right leg above the shin in the photos below could potentially be what he was talking about.
In a vlog with Stun Gun Kim uploaded a week back, Dvalishvili is seen in bandages. He opens the tapes up to show off the stitches. In another video on the same channel, he revealed that he got the cuts in an altercation with a drunk man.

Dricus du Plessis gets engaged to Vasti Spiller
Dricus du Plessis went down on one knee to propose to his girlfriend Vasti Spiller on his 31st birthday on Jan. 14. A guest in attendance took a video of the special moment on stage which was then shared by Spiller with a seven-word caption:

Spiller is a photographer, author, entrepreneur, and occasional Instagram model. She has been with the South African UFC star for nearly two years.
