What’s the story?
UFC was all buzzing with the Nate Diaz tweet that he wants to return to UFC if it's the right fight. Several UFC fighters have replied and the list includes former champion Eddie Alvarez, Kevin Lee with the latest to enter the mix being the current welterweight champion, Tyron Woodley. Both Nate and Tyron have publicly spoken that this could be a potential 170 lb clash possibly scheduled for UFC 226.
Now, Dana White has hit back at Tyron saying he is full of sh** and there have been no talks of the fight and the UFC boss has instructed the welterweight champion to stop spreading false news.

In case you didn’t know…
Both Nate and Tyron haven't fought for some time now. Tyron last competed against Damian Maia in July last year which he won through a decision. On the other hand, Nate hasn't stepped into the octagon after a defeat to Conor Mcgregor which was back in the August of 2016. So both fighters need a really big comeback fight and given Diaz's antics in the octagon, more people would be interested in this matchup.
The heart of the matter
In a recent interview, Woodley publicly stated that the Nate Diaz fight is the fight he'll be interested in, to which the UFC President responded by saying that this was never even considered and the next contender to Tyron would be Rafael Dos Anjos after his impressive win over Robbie Lawler.
Tyron shot back with a series of tweets taking a dig at the UFC President.
What’s next?
It seems all is not well between white and Woodley. With the current situation, it seems Dos Anjos is the next contender for the Welterweight Champion or else the fans might get to see a Woodley vs Steven "Wonderboy" Thompson trilogy. All we can do it to wait and watch.
Author's take
Tyron's side is justified as he wants a big money fight as his last bout was bland and not that entertaining. The Diaz showdown sure is interesting but there are so many talented contenders waiting in line in the division. So most probably he is going to fight Rafael Dos Anjos in a title defense. It remains to be seen who the UFC picks as his opponent.
