Daniel Cormier confidently predicts the next UFC boss

Daniel Cormier believes he knows which UFC executive will take over the helm of the UFC when Dana White calls it a day.

In a recent conversation with Mike Bohn on The Bohnfire, the former two-division champion claimed that it would be Hunter Campbell, the UFC's Executive Vice President and Chief Business Officer, who is often mentioned by fighters as the individual who negotiates the fight contracts with them.

Cormier said:

"When was the last time you heard an executive’s name called as many times as Hunter Campbell? He has developed a way of relating to the athletes and their managers that makes fights that seem like they won’t happen, or can’t happen, come together. It was only a few years ago that he took the lead on negotiations and everything... But just listen to the amount of fighters that not only tip their cap to Dana White anymore, but to Hunter Campbell."

When Bohn asked if he believed Campbell would step into White's role, Cormier said:

"Absolutely. That's exactly what it feels like."

Sean Strickland reacts to Justin Trudeau stepping down as Canadian PM

Justin Trudeau announced on Monday, Jan. 6, that he will step down as the Canadian Prime Minister, ending his nine-year tenure as the country's leader. This decision comes amid growing pressure from the Liberal Party.

UFC star Sean Strickland, who has historically been critical of Trudeau's policies, reacted to the news on X:

"It's a great day for Canada..... That dirty f***ing communist @JustinTrudeau has finally resigned after years of ruining his country..... Now just don't replace him with another POS liberal who hates freedom and loves taxes. Good luck Canada!"

Trudeau said that he would stay in office during the interim period till the Liberal Party could choose a new leader and parliament would be suspended until March 24.

Chael Sonnen doubled down on his claim that the rumored Conor McGregor vs. Logan Paul fight is not happening. He recently spoke in a video uploaded on UFC star Bo Nickal's YouTube channel where he said:

"What a scam!... It is just so fake... The way Conor [McGregor] tells the story - there's some rich billionaire [Ambani family] that's going to cut a check for $250 million. First off, nobody is cutting a check for $250 million when the going rate of the market is $8 million."
