Submission grappling stars Danielle Kelly and Mikey Musumeci both made their ONE Championship debuts in 2022—and 'Darth Rigatoni' introduced Kelly to a weird food combination that's now her go-to snack.
Both natives of New Jersey and the pair of grapplers have been rising up the ranks alongside one another for many years. Now, they're both stars under ONE's banner through their incredible performances inside the Circle.
Danielle Kelly spoke to Game Breakers about a rather strange food combination that Musumeci showed her. She stated:
"He actually got me into rice and chicken but you mix it with sea salt and oil so like it’s my go-to whenever I’m hungry so thank you Mikey."

Mikey Musumeci is already a ONE submission grappling world champion—and Kelly is hoping to compete for the promotion's inaugural women's atomweight world title if ONE so chooses to create a belt.
Danielle Kelly reveals the countries that she'd like to visit in 2023
Joining ONE Championship has opened a lot of doors for Danielle Kelly, as it allowed her to compete somewhere outside of the United States.
She has grappled in Singapore and is set to compete in Thailand at ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video. Kelly is looking forward to visiting other countries in the near future, telling ONE:
“I want to go to Italy,” Kelly told ONE Championship. “I want to go to Japan. I would like to go to Indonesia. So hopefully I'll check it out up there. Switzerland, Spain, as well. I'm planning hopefully if I do compete on the US card in May, then I’ll go to Italy and Spain in June.”
Kelly continued, saying:
“That's my plan right now. But you know, hopefully, it works out. But if I'm competing then everything has to kind of get pushed back.”
The 27-year-old will face judo star Ayaka Miura in a women's catchweight submission grappling bout. Kelly will be looking to pick up her second consecutive victory inside the Circle.
Make sure to tune in to ONE Fight Night 7 on February 24 to watch Danielle Kelly take on Ayaka Miura in a women's catchweight submission grappling bout, live from Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Fans in North America can watch the entire event live and for free on Amazon Prime Video.
