Full name Te Hakaraia o Te Rangi Wilson, the 26-year-old was in the coastal city to attend the Rhythm n Vines festival during New Year's time. Local authorities have dismissed any possibility of foul play and declared that the death is not suspicious.

Paige VanZant signs new MMA deal
Paige VanZant will make a return to MMA under the banner of the Global Fight League, GFL in short. The brand-new promotion has been flaunting a huge 300-strong roster full of former UFC fighters, including Tyron Woodley and Luke Rockhold.
VanZant said on her A KickA*s Love Story podcast which she hosts with her husband Austin Vanderford that GFL is offering rare perks and benefits like healthcare and retirement compensation:
"The way they’re doing it, they’re legit paying their athletes. Everybody I’ve heard [who has] negotiated their contract so far is extremely excited and happy. I also saw that, which I don’t know the logistics behind the scenes, but they’re doing like a pension fund for the fighters, and I think health insurance."
No further information on the details of her or any other fighter's contract with the GFL is currently available. However, co-founder Darren Owen has already revealed several lucrative incentives such as 50-50 revenue share, insurance, training support, and post-retirement benefits.
