Deontay Wilder has lost two professional bouts while competing as a professional. His first loss came against Tyson Fury on February 22, 2020, while defending the WBC men’s heavyweight championship. Fury knocked him out and picked up a win via seventh-round knockout.

Deontay Wilder again shared the squared circle with Tyson Fury in a rematch on October 9, 2021, for the WBC and The Ring magazine heavyweight titles.
