Amanda Lemos is a well-known female mixed martial artist hailing from Brazil. She fights in the UFC's strawweight division where the upper weight limit is 115 lbs. Born on May 22, 1987, in Belém, Brazil, Lemos is part of the Marajo Brothers team. She made her professional MMA debut in 2014 and got signed to the UFC in July 2017. Lemos is very proficient in striking and has won by knockout eight times and by submission three times, with finishes like guillotine and rear-naked chokes. As of July 2024, Lemos has compiled a professional MMA record of 14-3-1.

Among her wins was a TKO victory over Marina Rodriguez in November 2022, and a submission win over Michelle Waterson in July 2022, where she also scored a 'Performance of the Night' bonus. She also fought for the UFC Women's Strawweight Championship but unfortunately lost via a unanimous decision to Zhang Weili in August 2023. Lemos has time and again proven her ability to rise from setbacks, having been defeated by submission to Jessica Andrade in April 2022, yet still emerged at the top of the strawweight division. Her most recent victory came in the form of a unanimous decision against Mackenzie Dern in February 2024.

Amanda Lemos and her wife Karine Ximenes are the parents of an adopted daughter named Rebecca. Lemos’ wife, Karina Ximenes, is a fitness enthusiast, an aesthetics technician, and also a microblading practitioner, and has supported Lemos all along her MMA career. The family resides together in Belém, Brazil with some close relatives. Despite keeping a low public profile about their relationship, Lemos and Ximenes frequently share moments of their family life on their social media handles.

On her daughter’s 7th birthday on April 25, 2024, Lemos shared an Instagram post of the two of them where she thanked her daughter for making her who she is. She said she never thought that someday she would have kids and even so, she was not prepared in the beginning, but being a mom transformed her to love and devote herself unconditionally. She also vowed to be there for her daughter so that she grows to be a great, honest, and intelligent woman. Lemos ended the post by wishing her daughter a happy 7th birthday and expressing eternal love.
