Laura Sanko is an American commentator for mixed-martial arts in Ultimate Fighting Championships (UFC). She is also a former MMA fighter who competed at Invicta Fighting Championships. Born as Laura Marcusse on December 7, 1982, in Chicago, Illinois, United States, Laura Sanko initially was an MMA fighter at the Invicta Fighting Championships. She took the nickname “Fancy” because a known associate of hers told her that she was too fancy to train in MMA or fight. After she began her fighting career, she had to stop fighting because of what she cited as family reasons. However, she returned in 2016, as a backstage interviewer at MMA events.
