"18% is what you pay your waitress at Applebee’s" - Kevin Lee
Kevin Lee is willing to put his career on the line to see the Global Fight League's (GFL) 50-50 revenue split succeed. The former UFC star, who also competed in Khabib Nurmagomedov's Eagle FC, addressed the waves GFL has been making with its lucrative contracts, including health insurance and post-retirement pension.

During an interview with Ariel Helwani, Lee called out the UFC's pay structure that pays fighters an 18% share:
"If you can only pay guys 18% of the back end and that’s the only thing that works in this sport, well it’s not really a sport; that is more a bunch of poor guys fighting for billionaire’s chump change... 18% is what you pay your waitress at Applebee’s."
Lee added that if GFL's 50% share policy doesn't work, it would provide the transparency required in the industry. He's willing to put his 'life, reputation, and career' on the line to see if it's possible.
Matt Hamill offers Jon Jones a chance to avenge lone UFC loss
Matt Hamill is the only fighter to have a win on the record against Jon Jones. In 2009, 'Bones' ceded the lone loss of his career to Matt Hamill after a then-illegal 12-6 elbow had got him disqualified from the fight.
Despite his many accolades later on, the bizarre circumstances of the defeat have haunted Jones over the years to the point where he demanded it be overturned by the respective commission.
Speaking on the latest episode of Ariel Helwani's show, Hamill offered the UFC heavyweight champion an opportunity for a rematch:
"If the 1-loss record really bothers Jon Jones, I told him, let's have a rematch. I mean, I’ll tell you something. It’s not going to be like Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson. I expect there to be blood, I expect there to be broken bones. So, let’s have one last shot."
Joe Rogan reacts to Donald Trump's 51st U.S. state idea
Donald Trump recently posted on Truth Social about merging Canada with the United States as the country's 51st state. The President-elect cited reasons like "massive trade deficits" and "threat of the Russian and Chinese ships" to argue his point.
Joe Rogan, who advocated for Trump ahead of the 2024 elections, had a suggestion on the matter:
"I saw we let Mexico in too."
Fans were divided in the comment section, with some supporting Trump's opinion, while others calling out the lack of affordable healthcare and rampant gun violence in the U.S., among other things.
