Fabricio Andrade confirms that John Lineker earned his respect after their epic rematch at ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video.
'Wonder Boy' attained undisputed bantamweight gold in dominant fashion, forcing Lineker's corner to throw in the towel prior to the final round. The 25-year-old is quickly turning into one of the biggest stars on ONE Championship's roster.
After their rematch, Fabricio Andrade affirmed that he holds respect for his fellow Brazilian. He penned on Instagram:

Fabricio Andrade has been calling for a fight with Stephen Loman since 2021
The clear-cut next option to challenge Andrade is rising Filipino star Stephen Loman, who is currently the No. 3 ranked bantamweight contender.
Andrade has actually been eyeing a matchup with 'The Sniper' for well over a year. He told Asian MMA back in December 2021:
"As we know the title fight hasn't happened yet. We're still waiting for John Lineker and Bibiano. I told ONE I want to stay active. I don't want to wait too long. I'm just 24 now and I'm just at the beginning of my career. I feel like I'm just getting on my best shape as well. So for sure. Maybe Stephen Loman will be next."
Loman is unbeaten in three appearances under ONE's banner, beating Yusup Saadulaev, Shoko Sato, and most recently, Bibiano Fernandes.
The Team Lakay affiliate revealed to the promotion that he would watch the ONE Fight Night 7 main event closely in order to form a gameplan. He stated:
“I will definitely be watching this fight closely. These are two potential opponents who I know I will face down the road. I think I will learn a lot from watching this fight.”
Andrade has been an unsolvable puzzle since signing with ONE, amassing five finishes in six victories so far. His only hiccup was the no contest in his first meeting with Lineker last October.
