'Wonder Boy' Fabricio Andrade has assessed the ability of the Russian heavyweight slugger 'Sladkiy' Anatoly Malykhin to be in the highest category of combat. The two even trained alongside each other at Tiger Muay Thai.

Currently, the Russian knockout machine has captured the ONE interim heavyweight world title and the ONE light heavyweight world championship. Anatoly Malykhin earned both of these crowns by way of knockout.

ONE Championship CEO and Chairman Chatri Sityodtong commented on Malykhin's skills in the ONE on Prime Video 5 post-fight press conference, and said:

“There is nobody on the planet who is technical enough to beat Anatoly at heavyweight.”

Bantamweight fighter Fabricio Andrade agrees with the analysis coming from the ONE CEO. In an interview with ONE Championship, the Brazilian-born striker said:

"I agree. Anatoly is a very complete guy. He comes from grappling, a wrestler who identified himself a lot with striking. He has great knockout power and has been knocking everyone out. He's definitely on top of the world in the light heavyweight and heavyweight divisions."

The Russian-born athlete Malykhin has a background in Freestyle Wrestling. Despite this, 'Sladkiy' prefers to strike with his opponents and has won the majority of his MMA fights by way of knockout.

Fabricio Andrade will battle John Lineker again

Due to the unfortunate ending to their first fight, Fabricio Andrade will once again battle 'Hands of Stone' John Lineker. Their first bout was a back-and-forth war with the vacant ONE bantamweight world championship on the line. Due to an accidental groin strike, the fight was called off as a No Contest.

The battle for the ONE bantamweight world title will be the main event fight at ONE on Prime Video 7 booked for February 10th. ONE on Prime Video 7 will be broadcast live and for free on Amazon's streaming platform for all its subscribers in North America.

Fabricio Andrade explained after the first fight that he wanted to rematch Lineker because he believes that 'Hands of Stone' took the easy way out. 'Wonder Boy' explained to ONE Championship:

“In the third round, I felt like I was going to knock him out. He was very injured, he could no longer see with one eye and was very tired ... He wasn’t going back to the fight. If he came back, he would’ve been knocked out. He took the easy way out because he knew the fight was lost.”
